OUR MISSION
Healthy Feminist is a social business launched by Hala Sabbah as a response to the lack of existing platforms for SWANA self-identified women, aimed at providing affordable and accessible healing dialogue on social issues and mental wellness across genders and societies.

Our Impact
Our Approach
Our approach is rooted in intersectional feminism, a concept formed by Kimberlé Crenshaw, an American law professor, and also in decolonial feminism. This means that in our sessions whether private or group, we take into account the different forms of inequality and how they interlink, and understand how this connects to your corporate approach and team dynamics.
We are not here to simply impose political correctness, we are here to get uncomfortable and get past the minefield of awkward language and potential insensitivities. We believe in healing through dialogue and together we will learn, unlearn and challenge ourselves and each other to grow.

“Recently, someone I trust introduced me to Hala who did a few sessions with me and listened to me attentively. She helped me process my past traumas and helped me understand the connection between my physical health and my mental health. It felt like a candle had been lit and she gave me hope for better health and a better life. Her experience with chronic diseases and overcoming them makes her more relatable and I feel like she understands what I am going through. Hala’s approachable, honest and easy to talk to and I’ve grown so much thanks to her help so I hope you do too!”
